McAfee Enterprise 8 includes a protection that prevents mass-mailing worms to send out e-mails when a computer becomes infected. Unfortunately, it may also prevent sending messages to multiple recipients.

To deactivate this setting, proceed as follows:

1. Right-click the McAfee Shield with the red V in the right bottom corner of your screen...
2. ... and select Console
3. Double-click the Access Protection option...
4. ... and unselect the option "Prevent mass-mailing worms ..."

Apply the changes and close the McAfee Console windows.

You should now be able to send mails to multiple recipients.

Note

VUB users should make sure that the EPO agent (VirusScan Auto Updater) has been installed correctly. This EPO agent optimizes your antivirus options. If in doubt, you can always reinstall it. You can find the "VirusScan Auto Updater" on the Softweb Website.
