Communicating with groups of students

In PointCarré 2 one can communicate with students through the Course Announcements or the Communities.

The mailinglists known as Elvas were deactivated in September 2012 when Pointcarré 2 was made available to the university community. The lists were replaced by a number of applications such as the Course Announcements and the Communities.

For teachers

For all details, please see the Pointcarré documentation, in particular "How to communicate with groups of students without mailing lists?" (see the Links below).

For students

Students can no longer send e-mail to other groups of (fellow) studenten in Pointcarré, but they may be able to place an announcement in the community of their faculty (if available).

To announce a survey

You can place an announcement on the student portal my.vub.ac.be. See the link "Spread the word about a survey" below.
