The Faculty of Sciences

Studying at the Faculty of Sciences is a call for curiosity, a desire to understand the world and maybe influence its change. Science is a never-ending question to which the scientist tries to respond through experimentation and reasoning.

Within the Faculty of Sciences you will find so many ways to approach the study of nature and the relation that Man has with nature. These multiple visions in turn correspond to an actual discipline area. But behind the diversity there is a common denominator for action: science and only science.

The teaching is conceived to help you right through the understanding of principles, which by definition is intrinsically theoretical and applied. The goal is to train and produce scientists who are capable of full mastery of knowledge acquired through the work of predecessors, and who will have full recourse to rigour, creativity, autonomy, and a critical mind, all fundamentals for the development of new knowledge.
