From
Brussels: take the highway E411/A4 (follow "Namur-Namen Ring")
. After 47.8 km, you must change highway and take the highway E42/A15
(follow Charleroi-Mons-Liège). There will
be a branchement, take the direction Liège. After more or
less 18 km leave the highway and take the N643 (for 3.4 km) in the
direction of Wanze, Huy, Héron (you must go to
Huy). Continue on the N612 (for 1.9km),
you will arrive at a round-about, drive straight on. 1,3
km later, there is another round-about, follow Huy (straight on). A bit
after the second round-about, there is an indication for Modave.
You must then turn right. (At this point, you are in the center of
Huy.)
Then stay on the main street (its nice names are av du Hoyoux, rue
Dufrenoy,
etc. and the ugly one N641). When you arrive at a "T" (you arrive from
the
vertical road) (there is a hotel called "auberge du hoyoux") turn
right,
then take the first left (the street goes up, direction
"Clavier,Marche").
You will pass a sign indicating "Visitez le château de Modave".

meters later turn left and you are in modave. Keep to the right, it's
next
to the church (on the right).
