Pre-conference field trip (12-16 July 2000)
A field trip with 18 participants was organized before the IAVCEI Bali conference. Three areas were visited in Java: (1) the volcanic complex of Dieng, (2) the crater lake of Kelud in East Java and (3) the crater lake of Ijen (the easternmost volcanic complex of Java).
