Curriculum Vitae
Guillaume Schweicher obtained his diploma (chemical engineering) from the Polytechnic School of the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) in 2008. The title of his thesis is: "Discotic liquid crystals thin films alignment: the role of the mesophase". Since October 2008, he is a PhD student (FNRS fellow) at the Laboratory of Polymer Chemistry at the ULB.
Distinctions
Guillaume is a laureate from the French-speaking Belgian Olympiad of Chemistry in 2002. In July 2008, he received J. Reisse Prize from the Polytechnic School of the ULB for his academic results.
Research project
Guillaume is working on novel approaches to the preparation of ordered thin films of organic semiconductors for applications in organic field effect transistors (OFETs). At the present time, more details cannot unfortunately be disclosed.
