11/2005-12/2006 Postdoctoral researcher, Industrial contract with GENFIT, under the supervision of G. Guillaumet and S. Routier, I.C.O.A., University of Orléans, France. Design, synthesis and optimization of therapeutic hits.
02/2002-05/2005 PhD. in Chemistry, under the supervision of B. Boitrel, Institut de Chimie (U.M.R. 6226), University of Rennes 1, France. New synthetic porphyrins for the coordination of dioxygen.

Research project

Christian is involved in a research projects aimed to design and synthesis of new heterocyclic derivatives for applications in organic electronics. Research project BRIDGEN brings together ULB, two Belgian research centers (IMEC, Leuven and Materia Nova, Mons) as well Research and Development Center of Solvay, a major Belgian chemical company.
