L'unité CoDE-SMG développe ses activités de recherche dans le domaine général de l'aide à la décision et plus particulièrement sur les thèmes suivants : 1) aide multicritère à la décision (axiomatiques, méthodologies et logiciels destinés à la résolution de problèmes où plusieurs points de vue contradictoires doivent être pris en compte); 2) modélisation des préférences (étude de structures mathématiques permettant de prendre en compte les phénomènes d'incertitude, d'indétermination, de manque ou de redondance d'information,...); 3) Recherche opérationnelle, en particulier problèmes d'optimisation combinatoire, gestion des stocks, programmation linéaire, planification, théorie des files d'attente,... [The unit CoDE-SMG develops its research activities in the broad field of decision sciences, particularly the following disciplines: 1) Multicriteria decision aiding(axiomatics, methodology and software aiming at dealing with problems made of conflicting points of view); 2) Preference modelling (study of mathematical structures allowing to take into account decision features such as uncertainty, undeterminacy, information gaps or redundancy); 3) Operations research problems such as combinatorial optimization, stock management, linear programming, planning, queuing theory,...]
