L'Unité de Droit familial est à la base du vaste projet législatif en cours d'élaboration, tendant à la création en Belgique d'un Tribunal de la famille. Elle participe également à la mise sur pied d'une loi réparatrice de la réforme du divorce intervenue en 2007.
