Les seuls exemples connus de 2-(v,k,1) designs ayant un groupe d'automorphismes droite-transitif mais point imprimitif sont tels que v et k sont premiers entre eux. Des arguments essentiellement combinatoires fournissent une liste relativement courte de paramètres lorsque k/(v,k) est petit. Une investigation plus approfondie est possible en utilisant des outils plus pointus de théorie des groupes.
