Ce projet, financé dans le cadre d'une ARC (2004-2009), vise à étudier les relations entre le producteur et l'utilisateur de vases dans l'Antiquité, en prenant en compte les différents types de matériel, tant en céramique commune et de cuisine, qu'en céramique fine. L'étude sera également comparative, abordant les cultures égyptienne, grecque et romaine, dans le but de mieux saisir le fonctionnement des ateliers de céramique (organisation, distribution des produits, aspects sociaux et culturels de la production). [This ARC-funded project (2004-2009) focuses on the relations between the producer and the user of vases in antiquity. The research will take into account various kinds of wares (common, cooking, fine...) made in different periods and areas of the ancient world (New Kingdom Egypt, Archaic and Classical Greece, Roman Empire and Late Roman Near East).
