Registre de l'infarctus de Charleroi [Acute coronary-event register of Charleroi]
Encore appelé registre des Evènements Coronariens Aigus, ce registre a été instauré en 1983 comme faisant partie du Projet Monica coordonné par l'Organisation Mondiale de la Santé. Au niveau méthodologique, le Registre travaille avec une méthode d'enregistrement standardisée depuis 20 ans. Il s'agit d'enregistrer annuellement les cas fatals et non fatals d'infarctus aigus du myocarde afin d'évaluer les modifications temporelles chez les hommes et les femmes, d'évaluer la létalité de cette maladie au cours du temps, de valider les certificats de décès et d'évaluer enfin un projet de prévention des maladies cardio-vasculaires au niveau de l'entité de Charleroi (Carolo-Cardio-santé). [Still called register of the Acute Coronary Events, this register was founded in 1983 like forming part of the Monica Project coordinated by the World Health Organization. At the methodological level, the Register works with a method of recording standardized since 20 years. It is a question of annually recording the fatal and nonfatal cases of acute infarctions of the myocardium in order to evaluate the temporal modifications among the men and women, to evaluate the lethality of this disease in the course of time, to validate the certificates of death and to finally evaluate a project of prevention of the cardiovascular diseases on the level of the entity of Charleroi (Carolo-Cardio-health)]
