Active Isolation of equipment sensitive to vibrations [Active Isolation of equipment sensitive to vibrations]
The objective of this research is to build a six degrees of freedom parallel robot (stewart platform). This platform will be used to isolate the sensitive systems from vibrating bodies. It is planned to design two prototypes of this equipement, the first is with pieroelectric hard activators and the second is with electrodynamic voice coil activators. This idea of isolation has been verified by building a single DDF system with a soft activator. [The objective of this research is to build a six degrees of freedom parallel robot (stewart platform). Stratégies d'isolation active [Active Vibration Isolation]
L'objectif de ce projet est de développer des nouvelles stratégies permettant d'isoler activement les futurs instruments dédiés à la physique expérimentale (tels que les collisionneurs de particules et les grands détecteurs d'ondes gravitationnelles) des perturbations environnementales. [The objective of this project is to develop active vibration isolation strategies to stabilize large future instruments dedicated to experimental physics, like particle collider, gravitational wave detectors. ]
