Analyse comparée des cultures stratégiques américaine, israélienne et européenne(s) dans les guerres au Liban. Notre projet de thèse envisage une analyse comparée des ''cultures stratégiques'' américaine, israélienne et européenne(s) à travers l'étude de leurs interventions dans les guerres au Liban. Le but est d'observer et d'analyser les choix stratégiques militaires des acteurs sur le terrain et vérifier si, et comment, ces choix peuvent avoir été influencés par des normes sociales, tout en ayant à l'esprit une vision de longue durée, historique, de la situation du Liban et des relations entre les pays qui font l'objet de l'analyse. Le concept de ''culture stratégique'' sera alors mobilisé dans la formulation d'une hypothèse qui permette d'expliquer les choix stratégiques militaires des interventions au Liban des acteurs qui font l'objet de l'étude, en dépassant la vision strictement réaliste de la stratégie comme somme des contraintes technologiques et économiques sur le processus décisionnel des élites. Personne en charge : Valentina MORSELLI [PhD thesis project The project aims at conducting a compared analysis of the American, Israeli and European 'strategic cultures' through the study of the respective interventions in Lebanon. While observing and analyzing the strategic and military choices of the actors on the field, we want to verify if, and how, these choices might have been influenced by social norms, having in mind a long-term historical vision of the situation in Lebanon and of the relations among the very same countries that are the object of the study. The concept 'strategic culture' will be employed in the construction of a hypothesis which will allow an explanation of the military-strategic choices of the actors involved in Lebanon, trying to move over a strictly realist strategic vision as sum of the technological and economical constraints on the élite's decisional process.
