Writing your thesis

A PhD thesis is an individual piece of work that may take the form of

• an original dissertation

• an essay revealing the connections between a body of scientific publications of which you are either the author or co-author

• a dissertation based on a project or piece of work of which you are the author or co-author (e.g. for a PhD in "Arts and Science of Art")

You will need do decide on the structure, length and language of your thesis together with your supervisor and in accordance with ULB PhD regulations.
