Blankenberge is served by a train station with hourly service to and from Bruxelles (approx. 1 hour).

Blankenberge and its surroundings

Blankenberge is a seaside resort on the North Sea, enjoying a wide sandy beach, a sea wall to walk along, attractive dunes, pleasant restaurants and terraces, a casino and a lively yachting harbour. The Floreal Club, a modern conference complex equipped with all the infrastructures necessary for the organization of an event of this kind, lies close to the beach, opposite the dunes of Blankenberge and the "Drie Fonteintjes" nature reserve.

In addition, Blankenberge is within easy reach of a number of towns with a rich historical heritage, such as Damme, Ghent, Antwerp and Brussels (one hour away by train), but above all, it is close to one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, Brugge, which is only 15 km away. Brugge, also known as the Venice of the North, will captivate the visitor with its history, its culture and its architecture. The charms of its narrow streets and its sumptuous historical buildings (such as Notre-Dame, the town hall, the Belfry and the Béguinage) will appeal to evry visitor. On top of this, Brugge offers many famous museums, including the Memling Museum, the Groeninge Museum (with its collection of Flemish primitives) and the Gruuthuuse Museum. But above all, it is perhaps the romantic nature of Brugge that will be the most seductive: it is highlighted by a boat trip along the canals of the city, or by taking a carriage ride.
