Hendo (Didier Demolin, Hubert Ngonga et Alain Soquet)

A high speed video camera has been used to describe the sequence of articulatory events producing [i] and to make parallels with data obtained in aerodynamic and acoustic measurements. The video camera has been configured to captures gray scale images of 240 x 192 pixels at a rate 125 images per second. Audio signal and trigger pulses corresponding to image acquisition have been recorded simultaneously on a DAT. The pulses were used to post-synchronize the audio signal with the video data.
