Erasmus Mundus in more detail…

Erasmus Mundus - Masters and Doctoral courses

At the Masters and Doctoral levels, the Erasmus Mundus programme supports very high quality combined academic courses, offered by consortiums of universities from at least three European countries and possibly from third countries, providing study, teaching and research grants. The courses must involve mobility between the consortium institutions and result in the grant of a joint degree, whether double or multiple.

Over a hundred Masters courses have gained the Erasmus Mundus label since the programme started in 2004.

At the commencement of the 2010-11 academic year, 116 Erasmus Mundus Masters courses and 13 Erasmus Mundus Doctoral courses were opened to students from all over the world in a very broad range of disciplines.
