Daniela Manca worked for the esdpdemocracy project as a pre-doc
research fellow at ISIS Europe (Brussels) from September 2003 to
August 2004. She mainly conducted research on recent developments
of CFSP/ESDP and contributed articles to European Security Review
and NATO Notes, ISIS' bi-monthly publications. She also focused
on EU-UN relations in crisis management and conflict prevention.
Before joining the network, Daniela Manca was associated with the
Italian delegation's activities to the Political and Security Committee
(PSC) during the first three months of the Italian Presidency of
the EU (June-September 2003). She had also served as an intern at
the Assembly of the Western European Union (WEU, January-June 2002),
where she conducted research on European public opinion on defence
matters after the 11th September attacks and on European Armaments
Cooperation.
She holds a Masters degree in Diplomacy and Strategic Negotiations
from the University Paris-XI (October 2003) and a Degree in International
Relations from the Bologna University, Forli branch (October 2002).
Currently, Daniela Manca is working as a Program Assistant for the
Transatlantic Center of the German Marshall Fund of the US, in Brussels.
She has thus shifted her focus on transatlantic relations.
