Eric Remacle was born in Brussels in 1960. He has been Professor
at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) since 1996. He holds
a BA in Classics, an MA in international Politics, and a PhD in
political Science (ULB 1996). He worked as a Research Fellow at
GRIP- Groupe de Recherche et d'Information sur la Paix (Brussels)
from 1986-1992 and as an Assistant at the Department of Political
Science, ULB, from 1992-1996 before taking up the post of Director
of the ULB's Institut d'Etudes européennes in 1996.
Since 2000, Dr Remacle has been President of the Réseau d'Etudes
en Politique internationale, at the ULB, and Director of the Pôle
Bernheim d'Etudes sur la Paix et la Citoyenneté.
