The PET/SPECT/CT and autoradiography units of CMMI (ULB)

A bioimaging Scientist for a fixed-term contract of one year renewable.

Fonction

Founded by the Académie Universitaire Wallonie-Bruxelles, the Center for Microscopy and Molecular Imaging (CMMI) in Charleroi (Belgium) brings together expertise of researchers and academics of the Université Libre de Bruxelles and the Université de Mons to provide an integrated and efficient preclinical imaging platform for the scientific community. CMMI research facilities have state-of-the-art equipment and offer cutting-edge technologies for imaging, ranging from electron microscopy to in vivo animal imaging. The Center is responsible for providing services and training for academic laboratories as well as industrial partners (see: http://www.cmmi.be/)

    • You will be involved in designing and conducting pre-clinical in vivo imaging in close collaboration with academic and industry clients from the biomedical field. Within the team, you will interact with PhD from different fields (biology, physics, chemistry) and with nuclear medicine physicians.


    Profil

    Master degree in Biomedical Imaging or a Master degree in Sciences (biology, chemistry, physics, engineering, pharmacy, ...). Holding a PhD is an advantage.

    Connaissances requises

    • To have an experience in bioimaging and in the conduct of small-animal in vivo imaging experiments.

    • To be able to work independently and interact with people having diverse scientific backgrounds.


    Qualités souhaitées

    • To be ideally fluent in French, necessarily fluent in English..
