National bodies assigned to analyse the evolution of immigration and asylum policies : ITALY

• The Commission for Integration

The Commission for Immigrants integration Polices was established by the law n°40/98. The Commission is an advisory board to the Government and deals with polices having to do with the integration of immigrants. The Commission prepares an annual report.

• Timetable Programme

Implementing the law n°40/98, a timetable programme must be adopted every three years by the italian Governement. The first one was approuved by Order in Council the 5th of agoust 1998.
