RESEARCH AND ACTIVITIES IN PROGRESS
Coordination with 13 NGO partners of an EU funded project entitled:
"Making Alternatives to Detention in Europe a Reality by Exchanges, Advocacy and Learning" (MADE REAL).
The project , which will last from September 2013 to February 2015, will attempt to address the knowledge and implementation gaps concerning alternatives to detention for asylum seekers in the EU; to assist Member States in the transposition of the recast Reception Conditions Directive, and to enhance the use of alternatives to detention complying with EU and international legal standards.
- Project on "Process of Recognition and Orientation of Torture Victims in European Countries to facilitate Care and Treatment - raising Awareness, changing Behaviours, providing with Learning, building on Experience" (PROTECT - ABLE)
The PROTECT-ABLE project aims to promote, through training, advocacy, networking and communication, a process of early screening and orientation for asylum seekers that have suffered traumatic experiences.
