Elspeth GUILD est professeur "Jean Monnet ad personam" de droit européen de l'immigration à la "Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen" aux Pays-Bas.
Elle est également chercheure senoir au "Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) à Bruxelles et est avocate associée chez Kingsley Napley à Londres.
Elle est professeur invitée au LSE à Londres et enseigne au département des études de guerre au Kings College London.
Elle est également professeur visiteur au Collège d'Europe à Bruges.
Elle enseigne et publie principalement sur le droit et la politique européenne de l'asile et de l'immigration. Sa plus récente monographie concerne la migration et la sécurité au XXIe siècle.
