| This week FISU Secretary-General Roch Campana welcomed more visitors at the FISU HQ in Brussels. |

At the beginning of the week Mr. Choi Jong-Ok, Director of the International Cooperation Team of DUOC 2003 and Mrs. Yoon Young-Hee, Interpreter of the International Cooperation Team met with FISU Director for the Summer Universiade Eric Saintrond to prepare the Financial Aid Program for developing countries for the 2003 Summer Universiade in Daegu, Korea. Thanks to the Financial Aid Program FISU takes charge of the participation fee and plane tickets of two athletes and one official of these countries. |

| During the meeting protocol matters for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies were discussed, as well as the preparations of the Meeting of the Heads of Delegation in April 2003. The dates of this meeting have changed due to accommodation difficulties. In stead of 25th and 26th the meeting will take place on April 28th and 29th (arrival on 27th & departure on 30th). At the same time the Team Draw will not take place on April 26th but on April 29th in the afternoon. FISU also insisted for a direct flight from Icheon Airport, Seoul to Daegu. |

| Tuesday and Wednesday, Mr. Kiselev, Chairman of the CTI, met with FISU Director for the Championships Laurent Briel to discuss championship matters. |
