| On November 5th, the FISU Evaluation Commission, currently in Kaohsiung for the visit to evaluate its candidature for the 2007 Summer Universiade, continued its visit of the accommodation sites proposed by the Bid Committee. |

The campus of I-shou University, where the Universiade village would be set up, can already accommodate 3,000 people and new buildings, capable of containing 1,900 beds are still under construction. Moreover, the campus already has numerous facilities of the highest quality for training and leisure. |

| The FISU delegates also visited the national training center where many disciplines could be hosted: gymnastics, athletics, tennis, judo, basketball, taekwondo, volleyball, swimming, diving and baseball. The visit continued in the city of Tainan (740,000 inhabitants) with the superb campus of Cheng-Kung University, one of the most prestigious universities in the country. This campus could welcome many thousands of participants, both for accommodation and for training. The city of Tainan would also be the site of the football, table tennis and baseball competitions (the latter two disciplines being sports proposed by the bidding committee). |
