| Following the request of the different Bidding Committees for the organisation of the 2003 Summer Universiade which had to present their final bid at the FISU Steering Committee meeting in Brussels on February 26th, and in order to improve their presentation and to consolidate their project, it has been decided by the President of FISU to delay the decision for the final nomination of the host of the 2003 Universiade. The decision therefore will be delayed until the Executive Committee meeting schedulled in Beijing on July 13th and 14th, 2000. Next to the present candidates, other bidding committees will be allowed to make their presentation. |
