An interuniversity partnership
Universities have a key role to play in the construction of a knowledge-based Europe and in the European research filed. They will only be able to do this by strengthening their collaborations, by sharing their resources and their own competencies in order to insure a better international visibility.
Hence the creation of our Académie, also known as Brussels Alliance for research and Higher Education.
A BMCB Master in Charleroi from September on
A new Master in biochemistry and molecular and cell biology (specialized orientation: molecular physiopathology) will be launched in September. It is a collaboration between ULB and UMONS and half the courses will be taught in English.
CMMI : A new star at the Biopark
On April 20th, the Académie unveiled the project of a new preclinical imaging centre: CMMI. It will be launched in 2011 in Charleroi.
The CMMI is currently one of the only centres in Europe where the whole analysis (from molecule to animal) will be done in the same premises. It is organized in 10 specialized units.
