ABSTRACT REQUIREMENTS
Abstract submission is closed since May 31st
Authors of oral presentations and authors of posters are required to submit an abstract for publication in the Proceedings of the 4th European Congress of the IUSSI - 2008. The Proceedings will be distributed at the meeting.
Abstracts must be prepared as a single paragraph with word processing software prior to submission. Please use the following format:
- Document: margins 2.5 cm (up, down, left, right)
- Title: Times New Roman - bold - 14 pt
- Author(s): Times New Roman - bold - 12 pt
- Affiliation (addresse(s) + e-mail): Times New Roman - normal - 12 pt
- Abstract text: Times New Roman - normal - 12 pt - single space
Abstracts should consist of unpublished, original data that contains objectives, methods, results and conclusions. Please use concise language and avoid jargon. Please include taxonomic names in italics. References must be complete and reported as follows:
- Maeterlinck M.. 1998. Nature Genetics 12: 1-17
- Maeterlinck M., Dzierzon J. 2000. J. Heredity 65: 233-269
- Maeterlinck M. et al. 2001. Ins. Soc. 19: 331-335.
Abstracts are limited to 300 words (title, authors, affiliation and references not included). Abstracts that are too long will be automatically rejected. Please send abstracts as Word.doc or .rtf files with the filename being your surname only to: IUSSI08@ulb.ac.be
We strongly recommend you to choose a Symposium topic to affiliate with, to facilitate organizing the sessions.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE - ALL ABSTRACTS MUST BE RECEIVED ON MAY 31ST OR THEY WILL NOT BE INCLUDED IN THE PUBLISHED PROCEEDINGS.
Abstracts not fulfilling the above mentioned requirements will also be discarded from the Proceedings. You will be able to revise submitted abstracts and send new versions any time before the deadline.
